Girard College got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Antoine Seals out in front who scored 18 points along with nine rebounds and five steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which Seals has scored at least 25% of Girard College's points. Another player making a difference was Brendan Curtis, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
Girard College's victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8. As for International Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Girard College will head out on the road to face off against Academy Park at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Academy Park is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. International Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Kohelet Yeshiva at 4:30 p.m. on January 25th.
