Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Midlothian). They blew past the L.C. Bird Skyhawks 17-7 on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Trojans considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Midlothian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for L.C. Bird, they dropped their record down to 1-10 with the defeat, which was their 14th straight on the road dating back to last season.
