Sofia Easterhaus and MaKayla Watson stepped up to the plate in a big way. Easterhaus went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI, while Watson went 2-for-4 with two runs and one double. Easterhaus has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times she's played.
Westfield's loss dropped their record down to 9-6-1. As for Hamilton Heights, the defeat was their first at home, dropping their record down to 10-2.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Monday. Hamilton Heights hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.8 home runs per game. However, it's not like Westfield struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.8 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
