DURHAM, N.C. -
Orange (Hillsborough, N.C.) kept up a steady attack all game long to beat Riverside (Durham, N.C.), 38-0, on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by
Garrett Cloer to
Ky Muller in the first quarter, the Panthers were up 21-0 at the half.
Orange expanded its lead to 31 points entering the fourth quarter. OHS scored two times in the third, including once on a
Tay Jones touchdown run.
Cloer played well for the Hillsborough school in the victory. The junior quarterback threw two touchdowns.
The win brought Orange's winning streak to three games.
In a non-conference game next week Riverside (1-2) takes on Cedar Ridge, and Orange (3-0) will go up against Graham also in a non-conference game.
