Philadelphia Public - AA/A recap December 3, 2013
High School of the Future moved up to 480 from 515 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Philadelphia Public - AA/A. High School of the Future climbed the ranks as a result of besting Jules E. Mastbaum Vo-Tech 40-14.
Prep Charter took down Horace Furness 48-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Vian Dolo threw for 318 yards and 5 touchdowns and ran for 46 yards during the win.
Nasir Bonner was the most successful running back in the league this week. He ran for 79 yards on 10 carries as Imhotep Charter bested Horace Furness. Teammate Mike Waters added to the ground attack by rushing for 38 yards.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, David Hand's team's Dolo and Simmons have proven to be a lethal combination. 6-0 quarterback Dolo has thrown for 1,564 yards this season, while Simmons has 63 catches for 1,015 yards. Bonner from the Panthers leads the league in rushing with 1,088 yards.
Prep Charter led Philadelphia Public - AA/A in scoring this week by notching 48 points on Anthony Pastore's team. Dolo ran for 46 yards in the win.
