After soaring high against Belmont last Friday, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. Benton/Scales Mound IL were completely outmatched, falling 6-49 to Pecatonica/Argyle. If Benton/Scales Mound IL were hoping to take revenge for the 14-51 loss against Pecatonica/Argyle the last time the teams met, then they were left disappointed.
The loss dropped Benton/Scales Mound IL back to even at 1-1. The win bumped Pecatonica/Argyle's record up to 2-0.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Benton/Scales Mound IL will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Shullsburg at 7:00 PM. As for Pecatonica/Argyle, they will face off against Black Hawk.
