Leading Clearwater Central Catholic to victory were Sophia Landen and Taylor Bedinghaus. Landen scored 13 points, while Bedinghaus scored 17 points. Landen continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Alexis Benoit was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Shorecrest Prep's defeat was their fifth straight at home, which bumped their record down to 0-9. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 11.2 points per game. As for Clearwater Central Catholic, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-2.
