After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Burkburnett, the Archer City Wildcats were happy to have found some success on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 40-26 victory over Benjamin.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Archer City to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addy Peters, who scored 12 points. Alyssa Schroeder was another key contributor, scoring a points along with eight rebounds.
Archer City now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Benjamin, they have fallen quite a ways from their 11-4 record last season and are now at 2-8.
Archer City will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Midway at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. Midway is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. Benjamin and Perrin-Whitt will round out the year against one another at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday at. Perrin-Whitt will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
