1A-2 Region IV District 16 recap November 5, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in 1A-2 Region IV District 16 this week, Bruni beat Agua Dulce 42-13. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Bruni took down the Longhorns 42-13 last week, the largest margin of any game.
On the heels of homer hinojosa and aj jiminian, Agua Dulce has had great success on offense. Hinojosa is tops in the league in passing with 714 yards, while jiminian has rushed for 880 yards this season. Tops in the league in receiving yards is La Pryor's Jonathan Witt, with 328 yards on 18 catches.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Benavides takes on the Bulldogs. The Eagles are in fourth place, while La Pryor is in second place.
Charlotte made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 13,441 from 13,630. The improvement was the result of a 70-50 victory over Benavides last week.
