The Middlesex Bluejays will head out on the road to take on the South River Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Middlesex will be strutting in after a win while South River will be coming in after a defeat.
Even though Kennedy Memorial scored an imposing 64 points on Monday, Middlesex still came out on top. Middlesex managed a 69-64 victory over Kennedy Memorial.
South River suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Monday. They were beaten by Timothy Christian 76-44.
The losing side was boosted by Alex Grospe, who scored 33 points along with six steals. That was a full 75% of South River's points, marking the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Middlesex's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for South River, their loss dropped their record down to 6-8.
Everything came up roses for Middlesex against South River when the teams last played on January 3rd as the team secured a 77-41 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Middlesex since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
