After a string of ten wins, Wilkinson County's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 58-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hancock Central Bulldogs. The Warriors were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bulldogs earlier this season, when they won 67-66.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hancock Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Josiah Ingram, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 21 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Wilkinson County's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 14-6.
