Baseball Game Preview: North Hills Christian Eagles vs. Faith Academy Charter Patriots

The North Hills Christian Eagles will square off against the Faith Academy Charter Patriots at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Hills Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

North Hills Christian took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Grace Academy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Eagles came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lions on Tuesday, sneaking past 10-9. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Another player making a difference was Luke McLaughlin, who got on base in two of his five plate appearances with two runs.

North Hills Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .419. They are 2-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Faith Academy Charter's offense. They came up short against North Hills Christian back in April, falling 14-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Patriots haven't been shut out since back in March.

North Hills Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Faith Academy Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
