The Glenville-Emmons Wolverines were the 85-73 winner over the LeRoy-Ostrander Cardinals when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Glenville-Emmons fell 67-54 to LeRoy-Ostrander on Thursday.
Camden Hungerholt continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for LeRoy-Ostrander, scoring 34 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Hungerholt has scored at least 25% of LeRoy-Ostrander's points. Carter Sweeney was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Glenville-Emmons' defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-6. As for LeRoy-Ostrander, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glenville-Emmons will take on Fillmore Central at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. LeRoy-Ostrander won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Lyle/Pacelli at 7:15 p.m. on January 5th.
