Pierce Pirtle Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, Hamshire-Fannett got the W thanks in part to Pierce Pirtle playing the best football he has all season. Pirtle rushed for 55 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 76 receiving yards and a touchdown.
The victory was the fifth in a row for Hamshire-Fannett, bringing their record for this year to 6-1. Pirtle will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Tarkington on Friday.

Isaiah Reed Has Career Rushing Day
Hamshire-Fannett was led to victory by Isaiah Reed, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Reed rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 66 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 52 yards.
For the season, Reed has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 49 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he was only averaging 14 rushing yards per game.

Hamshire-Fannett Gets a Boost from Bryson in 42-20 Victory
Ty Bryson's big game helped extend Hamshire-Fannett's winning streak to five on Friday. Bryson was dynamite, throwing for 220 yards and three touchdowns while completing 87% of his passes.
This year, Bryson has thrown 23 touchdowns while averaging 269.3 passing yards per game.

Weston Hoffart Makes Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Weston Hoffart of Shepherd. Hoffart forced a fumble and made nine total tackles.
