Moorpark led Marmonte - West in scoring this week after putting up 34 points on Moorpark.
Thousand Oaks's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Clark Abourisk threw for 203 and two touchdowns and Case Cookus had 132 yards receiving. On the ground Nathan Debeikes chipped in 107 yards. Nick Julier helped Thousand Oaks' passing attack out by catching four balls for 47 yards.
Thanks to the talents of Abourisk and Debeikes the Lancers have been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Abourisk leads the league in passing with 1237 yards, while Debeikes has rushed for 414 yards this season. Oaks Christian's Francis Owusu leads the league in receiving yards with 509 on 29 catches.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Thousand Oaks takes on the Lions. As it stands, the Lancers are in third, while Oaks Christian is in first.
There should be lots of points scored when Thousand Oaks and Jeff Woodruff 's team face off this week. The top two offenses in the league, the Lancers comes in having scored 124 this season, while the Lions have scored 169. Thousand Oaks scored 21 points last week as it fell to Nordhoff.
The Musketeers fell 35-34 to Palos Verdes in the closest game of the week.
