Orange Vista hasn't had much luck against Valley View recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Coyotes will look to defend their home field against the Eagles at 3:15 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Orange Vista comes in on four and Valley View on seven.
Last Thursday, Orange Vista got the win against Paloma Valley by a conclusive 12-6. That's two games straight that the Coyotes have won by exactly six runs.

Macai Johnson was incredible, going 4-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Lina Robles, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
Johnson wasn't the only one making solid contact: Orange Vista kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 17 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in five consecutive matches.
Valley View hadn't beaten Poly on the road since April 6, 2022 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Eagles walked away with a 6-2 win over the Bears.
Bella Hernandez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on eight hits.
On the hitting side, Valley View saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jacqueline Divine, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
Valley View's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Orange Vista, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Orange Vista hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.7 home runs per game. However, it's not like Valley View struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 1.9 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Orange Vista might still be hurting after the 15-3 loss they got from Valley View in their previous matchup back in February. Will the Coyotes have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other softball content.
