Even though the Dunnellon Tigers have not done well against the Bradford Tornadoes recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Dunnellon snuck past Bradford with a 57-52 victory. The win was just business as usual for Dunnellon, who after three games remain undefeated this season.
Tatiana Matthews had an outrageously good game as she almost dropped a triple-double on 33 points, 9 rebounds, and 12 steals. The game was her third in a row with at least ten points. Princess Hardin was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Dunnellon's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Bradford, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Dunnellon's road trip will continue as they head out to face Gainesville at 12:00 p.m. on December 2nd. Hopefully Gainesville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up six on Thursday. As for Bradford, they will head out on the road to face off against Suwannee at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
