Nathan Swinson had an outrageously good game as he threw for 255 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 31 yards. Taft's leading receiver Erik Koron was Swinson's top target yet again, picking up 116 receiving yards and one score.
Although Nordhoff took the loss, they still got scores from Jaxson Kirk and Zeke Sheets.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Taft will take on Monroe at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Nordhoff, they will square off against Trinity Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
