North dropped their record down to 9-4 on Saturday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 10-0 to the Rosemount Irish. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Polars were not able to get on the board.

As for Rosemount, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.4 runs over those games.

For Rosemount's part, Anna Price made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Price was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That RBI was her first of the season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jorey Fry, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Rachel Stone, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Coming up, North will challenge Hastings at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Rosemount, they will face off against Shakopee at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
