Coral Glades is 1-9 against Coral Springs since December of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. Coral Glades and Western squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but sadly Coral Glades had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 52-50.
Coral Glades might have lost, but man, Tahir Bond was a machine: he scored 29 points along with six rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bond has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Gavin Reed, who scored six points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Coral Springs was just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 30-29 to Cypress Bay. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Coral Springs has scored all season.
Coral Glades' record now sits at 14-13. Coral Springs' record is now 20-5.
Coral Glades lost to Coral Springs on the road by a decisive 63-45 margin in their previous matchup back in January. Can Coral Glades avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
