It was another big night for Antonio ??tone?? scott, who scored 30 points along with five rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Chandler Thomas was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with six rebounds.
Veterans has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Houston County, their loss dropped their record down to 9-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Veterans on the road again on Friday and play against Thomas County Central at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th. Thomas County Central will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. As for Houston County, they will head out on the road to face off against Lee County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Lee County's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season.
