The Indians haven't had any issues with the Polar Bears recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Waite's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Woodward, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Waite beat the Polar Bears by a score of 16-4 later that day.
