The Mountain View Christian Saints's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight defeat. They suffered a tough 73-47 loss at the hands of Innovations International. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Mountain View Christian in their matchups with the Ambassadors: they've now lost five in a row.
Despite the loss, Mountain View Christian saw an underclassman step up: Matthew Lindsey dropped a double-double on 25 points and 12 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lindsey has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Dobbins, who scored seven points.
Mountain View Christian dropped their record down to 1-11 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Innovations International, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mountain View Christian will stay at home for another game and welcome the Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on February 9th. Innovations International will take on the Patriots at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Nevada (American Heritage Academy is ranked 107th, while the Ambassadors are ranked 83rd).
