Softball Recap: Valley Drops Highest Score of Season Against Burbank

Valley had lost four games straight , but after bumping their record up to 3-13 on Monday that streak is in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 40-32 margin over the Burbank Titans. The Vikings' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

As for Burbank, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-12. Even if they couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their hitters, which had struggled int the games prior.

For Burbank's part, they got a massive performance out of MARICELA MONTES, who got on base in all seven of her plate appearances with nine stolen bases and six runs. LILLYROSE JERBAL was another key player, getting on base in all seven of her plate appearances with ten stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI.
