The Quality Education Academy Fighting Pharaohs won the last time they faced the Concord Academy Eagles, and things went their way on Friday too. Quality Education Academy walked away with a 37-29 win over Concord Academy. Despite the victory, that was the fewest points Quality Education Academy has scored all season.
Samantha Meyers and Justice Alexander certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Meyers scored ten points along with six rebounds, while Alexander scored ten points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Alexander also posted two blocks for the first time this season.
Concord Academy struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only two offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Quality Education Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Concord Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 7-1.
Quality Education Academy will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Trinity Collegiate at 6:00 p.m. on December 28th. Trinity Collegiate is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last seven games. Concord Academy and East Rutherford will round out the year against one another at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at. Hopefully East Rutherford focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Tuesday.
