The Uxbridge Spartans can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They walked away with a 63-56 win over Auburn. The victory was just what Uxbridge needed coming off of a 67-47 loss in their prior match.
Ethan Mccusker continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Colin Spencer, who scored 14 points.
Uxbridge's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Auburn, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Uxbridge will stay at home for another game and welcome Nipmuc Regional at 6:30 p.m. on February 1st. Auburn will take on Prouty at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Prouty presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Auburn in Massachusetts (Prouty is ranked 42nd, while Auburn is ranked 222nd).
