After flying high against East Chicago Central  last Friday, Munster came back down to earth. The Munster Mustangs were beaten by the Hanover Central Wildcats 42-6 on Friday. That's the most  rushing yards  Verrett has posted since back in October of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of  Rocco Bartolomeo, who gained 74 total yards and two touchdowns.
 Munster's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Hanover Central, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the  win, which was their tenth straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Munster will head out to  challenge Highland  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Munster is facing Highland at the right time seeing as Highland is stuck on  a  four-game losing streak. As for Hanover Central, they are taking a road trip to  face off against Hobart  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Hobart will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  victory, something Hanover Central surely won't give up without a fight.
