Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask UME Preparatory Academy). They never let the Life Oak Cliff Lions get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory on Tuesday. With that win, the EAGLES brought their scoring average up to 6.8 runs per game.
Adelina Sauceda was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over four innings pitched. Sauceda was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jenevive Fleming, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Jelia Fleming, who scored two runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
