The Teays Valley Vikings will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against the Olentangy Braves at 7:30 p.m. Teays Valley will be strutting in after a victory while Olentangy will be coming in after a loss.
Teays Valley took care of business in their home opener on Friday (barely). They came out on top in a nail-biter against Lancaster and snuck past 47-45.
Meanwhile, Olentangy pushed their score all the way to 68 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 69-68 to Licking Heights.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Jay Agrawal, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Quentin Page, who scored 13 points.
Teays Valley's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Olentangy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
