Worth County had won five straight games and Caleb New did his part to make it six on Tuesday. The Tigers claimed a resounding 66-36 victory over the South Nodaway Longhorns with plenty of help from New, who went 8-for-19 to rack up 18 points along with eight boards and seven assists. The game was his fourth in a row with at least 18 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Ryder Smyser, who posted seven points and three steals. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played.

Worth County's win bumped their record up to 14-9. As for South Nodaway, they dropped their record down to 2-9 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Worth County has already played their next matchup, a 59-42 defeat against Maysville on the 19th. As for South Nodaway, they will challenge Albany at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
