Union Academy (Monroe, N.C.) defeat North Stanly (New London, N.C.) 41-9 after a strong game from

After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Antonio James in the first quarter, the Cardinals led 21-9 at the half.
Union Academy expanded its lead to 25 points entering the fourth quarter. UA scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by James.
James and Rushing ran for a bunch of touchdowns for the Comets.
North Stanly's Hunter Lunsford was the standout player for his team. The senior quarterback ran for one touchdown.
NS's lone touchdown came on a 5-yard run by Lunsford in the first quarter.
