AA - Western Top Player Performances of the Week
Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances in games played on Thursday and Friday (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!
A Season-Best Effort from Jackson Presley Leads Glacier over Flathead
On Thursday, Glacier got the W thanks in part to Jackson Presley playing the best football he has all season. Presley threw for 235 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 passes, and also rushed for 46 yards and two touchdowns, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
If history really does repeat itself, Presley might just drop another big game when he faces off against Big Sky on Thursday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Presley saw the Eagles), he threw for 394 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 16.4 yards per attempt.

Cole Zeigler Delivers Best Performance of Season
Sadly, Cole Zeigler posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Hellgate over Butte on Friday. Zeigler rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries, and also picked up 53 receiving yards and a touchdown. His longest rush was for an impressive 63 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Hellgate is on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7. They and Sentinel are set to duel on Thursday.
