Dardanelle extended the longest winning streak in 4A Region 4 this week by beating Mena, 45-34. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Sandlizards.
Pottsville led the league in scoring this week after putting up 48 points on Waldron. Michael Perry threw for 62 yards and one touchdown and ran for 75 yards in the win.
The Apaches' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tyler Weaver helped Pottsville's passing attack out by catching two balls for 22 yards.
Luke McAnulty was the best wideout in the league this week as Pottsville defeated the Bulldogs. McAnulty racked up two receptions for 40 yards.
Pottsville's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Apaches feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Perry has thrown for 611 yards and six touchdowns this season, while Weaver has 12 catches for 208 yards. Perry also leads the league in rushing with 1063 yards.
