On Friday, Alexander strolled past Washington with points to spare, taking the game 51-35.
Alexander found their leader in underclassman Nimah Ibidunni, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 10 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Ibidunni has scored at least 25% of Alexander's points. Isabella Italiano was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
The victory got Alexander back to even at 1-1. As for Washington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Alexander won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Kell at 1:00 p.m. on November 25th. As for Washington, they will be playing at home against Drew Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
