Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Invest Collegiate Imagine). Everything went their way against the Shining Rock Classical Academy Falcons on Thursday as the Invest Collegiate Imagine Kingfishers made off with a 71-45 win. Fans of the Kingfishers have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Shining Rock Classical Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Brock Muri, who posted 12 points. Oliver Kalra was another key player, putting up nine points.

Invest Collegiate Imagine's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.7 points per game. As for Shining Rock Classical Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Invest Collegiate Imagine will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bethel Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
