Baseball Recap: Alchesay Has No Trouble Against San Carlos

Alchesay not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since March 11, 2025 (when they won 20-2). They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the San Carlos Braves. That's more bragging rights for the Falcons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Brayden Edwards was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Japeth Henry, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in February of 2025. Liam Thompson was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Alchesay always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .676. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as San Carlos only posted an OBP of .214.

Alchesay now has a winning record of 2-1. As for San Carlos, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Alchesay will face off against Globe at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season. As for San Carlos, they will challenge Ray at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
