While Allen Park's win against Cass Tech wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Jaguars had just enough and edged out the Technicians 6-5 on Monday. The Jaguars haven't had any issues with the Technicians recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Aaron Stewart looked comfortable as he tossed 1.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Brody Matelic, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. That home run was his first of the season. Jack Labiak was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one stolen base and one double.

Allen Park's win bumped their record up to 14-8-1. As for Cass Tech, their loss ended a nine-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-6.

Looking ahead, Allen Park is taking a road trip to square off against Anderson at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Jaguars 3.2, the Titans 3.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Cass Tech, they will be playing at home against Northwestern at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
