The Fulton Science Academy Mustangs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight defeat. They took a 30-17 hit to the loss column at the hands of Howard. The match was a 14-14 toss-up at halftime, but Fulton Science Academy couldn't quite close it out.
Howard can attribute much of their success to Ava Beck, who scored 14 points.
Fulton Science Academy dropped their record down to 2-14 with that loss, which was their third straight at home. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 19.7 points per game. As for Howard, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-5.
Fulton Science Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Howard, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 46-35 win vs. Cottage on the 8th.
