Koye Rondeno and John Clark were among the main playmakers for Klein Cain as the former scored 19 points along with two steals and the latter dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 rebounds. Clark is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last ten games he's played. Braden Fobbs was another key contributor, scoring four points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Klein Oak sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 51-48 victory over Klein on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Klein Oak.
Klein Cain is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 13-11 record this season. As for Klein Oak, their win bumped their record up to 14-9.
Klein Cain took their win against Klein Oak in their previous meeting on January 2nd by a conclusive 63-43. The rematch might be a little tougher for Klein Cain since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
