Cheshire is on a four-game streak of home wins, while Lyman Hall is on an eight-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Rams will welcome the Trojans at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Cheshire 3.2, Lyman Hall 1.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Cheshire had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the seven-run drubbing they dealt Naugatuck on Saturday. The Rams were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Greyhounds. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by six runs or more this season.
