 Meanwhile, Hopewell suffered a  rough 12-3 loss at the hands of Kiski Area  last Thursday.
 Hopewell saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Drew Donovan, who  went 1-for-3 with a  stolen base.
 Beaver's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Hopewell, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

However, it's not like Hopewell struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 2.8. The only question left is which team can snag more.
 Beaver might still be hurting after the  11-1 loss they got from Hopewell  in their previous meeting  back in April of 2023. Thankfully for Beaver,  Landon Fox (who   struck out ten batters over  five innings while giving up just one earned run off   five  hits) won't be suiting up this time.
