McLain Science & Tech has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Central Braves at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Saturday, McLain Science & Tech didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Wright Christian, but they still walked away with a 47-43 victory.
Meanwhile, Central strolled past Catoosa with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 53-38. The win was just what Central needed coming off of a 55-32 loss in their prior contest.
Montay Davis continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 28 points and ten rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Central's points. Amari Robinson was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven rebounds and three blocks.
McLain Science & Tech pushed their record up to 7-5 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points per game. Central's record now sits at 3-10.
McLain Science & Tech came up short against Central in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, falling 51-41. Thankfully for McLain Science & Tech, Nakya Blakley (who scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and six steals) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
