The Munroe Bobcats had to endure an eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 51-38 win over Arnold on Saturday. The victory was just what Munroe needed coming off of a 50-30 loss in their prior match.
Mya Mccullar continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Aj Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Munroe's win bumped their record up to 5-14. As for Arnold, their loss dropped their record down to 8-12.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Munroe will face off against Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The timing is sure in Lincoln's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Munroe has been banged up by six consecutive losses on the road. As for Arnold, they will take on Rutherford at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
