After losing to Union Grove the last time they met, South Effingham decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Mustangs came out on top against the Wolverines by a score of 2-0 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Clara Vorel paced South Effingham's offense, picking up 12 kills. Vorel got some help from Leah Magana and her 18 assists. Jada Hill controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

South Effingham's record now sits at 9-7. As for Union Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-2-1.

South Effingham wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against North Atlanta on the 23rd. As for Union Grove, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Cherokee on the 23rd.
