Cathedral faced Brownstown Central in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Fighting Irish walked away with a 2-0 win over the Braves. The Fighting Irish haven't had any issues with the Braves recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Cathedral's offense was headlined by Blaine Adams and Chloe Moss, who picked up seven kills apiece. They got some help from Mia Stubbs and her 23 assists. Avery Lewis controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Cathedral's win bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Brownstown Central, the defeat snapped their winning streak at six games and leaves them with a 9-2 record.
