The Yosemite Badgers's six-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They snuck past Paso Robles with a 52-48 victory. The victory was just what Yosemite needed coming off of a 69-22 loss in their prior matchup.
Yosemite was led to victory by Dayton Lee and Lucas McGoldrick. Lee scored 11 points along with seven rebounds, while McGoldrick scored 11 points. Those 11 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Owen Page, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds.
Yosemite's victory bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Paso Robles, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
Yosemite is on the road again on Friday and play against Chowchilla at 8:00 p.m. on January 12th. Chowchilla has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Paso Robles and Cabrillo will face off at 6:30 p.m. on January 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
