Twiggs Academy took a serious blow against Grace Christian Academy, falling 57-6. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Twiggs Academy came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 35th, while Grace Christian Academy is ranked 468th).
BLAKE DUPREE threw for 48 yards and a touchdown. LAWTON DANIELS was his top target, picking up 42 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Twiggs Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6-1. As for Grace Christian Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.
Twiggs Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Grace Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Baker County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
