LaBrae is 1-6 against Crestview since November of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Vikings are taking a road trip to take on the Rebels at 7:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
LaBrae took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They strolled past Southeast with points to spare, taking the game 42-28.

Easton Armstrong was his usual excellent self, rushing for 162 yards and three scores while picking up 8.1 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 105.1 rushing yards per game.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: LaBrae was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 334 rushing yards. They are a perfect 5-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.
Meanwhile, Crestview strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against Garfield as they made off with a 42-20 win. The Rebels pushed the score to 35-12 by the end of the third, a deficit the G-Men cut but never quite recovered from.
LaBrae better keep an eye on Jake Noling. He was instrumental in Crestview's win, rushing for 127 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.9 yards per carry, and also throwing for 94 yards and one TD. That's the most rushing yards Noling has posted since back in October of 2024.
One reason for the win was Crestview's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece. Mikey Proctor was another major factor on D, making 19 total tackles and defending one pass.
Crestview's record now sits at 9-0. As for LaBrae, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Friday's matchup might be decided on the ground. LaBrae has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 229.6 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Crestview struggles in that department as they've been averaging 278.9 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
LaBrae was dealt a bruising 58-25 loss at the hands of Crestview in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Noling, who rushed for 287 yards and four scores while picking up 13.0 yards per carry, and also threw for 178 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes.
