Skyline scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They lost to the Eastlake Wolves on the road by a 70-56 margin. The Spartans were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.

Skyline's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Eastlake, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Skyline and Palm Springs will round out the year against one another at at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Eastlake, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Interlake at 7:15 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
