After flying high against Barstow last Friday, Victor Valley came back down to earth. The Victor Valley Jackrabbits took a 65-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Granite Hills Cougars on Wednesday. Victor Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Granite Hills, their victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-8.
Victor Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 55-53 loss against Adelanto on the 17th. As for Granite Hills, they will head out to face off against Barstow at 7:00 p.m. on January 22nd. Barstow has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
